The credit for the celebrating Fathers day in the modern era goes to Ms Sonora Louise Smart Dodd. She lost her mother when she was 16 years old. Finally in 1910 her hard work reaped the fruits of success. The first Father’s Day was celebrated with the help of Spokane Ministerial Association and Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) in the United States.
